Beautiful cemetery !!! The graveyard here includes a special section for the burials of 397 Polish soldiers that served in World War II, mainly in the air force, who either died in the U.K. or whose bodies were returned here. They fought for freedom - Rest In Peace ️
A very well kept cemetery, with flowers, trees and a peaceful ambiance. There is also a war cemetery holding the graves of many Polish soldiers who sacrificed themselves for a free United Kingdom and a free Europe. Many people from Newark come here to walk and visit graves. The cemetery is a tidy and moving testimony to the good people of Newark and the Polish people who stood with us in our darkest hours.
