I have moved recently to Newark and had to register somewhere and I picked this practice as it had the best opinions in the area. I need to admit that I haven't seen a doctor so far, but my first visit (just to register) was repulsive. First of all, I was the only person in the hall when I was filling out the form ,but as soon as someone else entered the building I was asked to leave it because they have to minimize the amount of people. If it was a small room, I would understand it, but the hall is quite big and I was already there anyway, so two people in a big space doesn't make a crowd...however I left the practice ,even though I was nearly done and finished the form outside. When I came back I was asked to show an ID ,which I did, however I couldn't return my wife's form as I didn't have her ID and I was told that she needs to come personally with her ID. Otherwise, they won't be able to accept it. So I went back home and came with my wife and her ID. However they told her just to drop it in the letter box outside the entrance...We were really annoyed because we were just fooled and wasted our time. My wife also had a terrible experience with them, so to be honest I wouldn't recommend this practice just because of the receptionists. They are the front line and should make a positive impression, not to behave like they were forced to work without any payment.

Poor phone service. Was on hold for 15 minutes as 3rd in the que. After moving to my turn the phone proceeded to ring for a further 5 minutes before saying unable to complete this call please try again. I certainly don't think so

Had a telephone appointment during Covid,excellent doctor spoke to me and couldn’t be more helpful,but whenever I’ve visited at any time to see doctor or nurses always satisfied with my appointments and minimal waiting time and I have never felt rushed during my visits.

I love this surgery, each different Dr I have seen has been so good to me and very attentive, showing great kindness. I have been going through a very tough time lately and the support I have felt has been second to none! Receptionists always do an amazing job of making you feel comfortable and welcomed, the Doctors are also welcoming and really listen to you! When I come away from here I feel well looked after, nice big car parking is a bonus, in house pharmacy is absolutely amazing, the staff in there are one of a kind and again very welcoming and informative! ThankYOU and continue your great work Balderton Surgery!x

If I could give this place 0 I would. I went there today as told by hospital I need a GP referral for urgent care at kings mills and literally the receptionist told me it would take 2 weeks. I went to Lombard street and they got me in tomorrow! Absolutely disgusting. I have never in my life known anything like this place! Don’t go if you need urgent care referral because they couldn’t care less!
