Easily some of the best food I’ve had in New York. It’s a small spot with a few chairs and a counter for a handfuls of people to dine in so it’s not meant to accommodate a large crowd, nor is your food coming out on fine plating, this is a comfort food, grab and go kind of spot. The food was extremely tasty, I ordered a chicken arepa and something else I can’t recall the name of but my God, it was extremely fulfilling. Prices are super reasonable as well even though I live in Brooklyn, I’ll absolutely be making trips uptown to grab a bite throughout summer.
I just came to buy food from NJ, positive comment is that the employees when it comes to work they do, it’s a lot of work for only 2 people. The only thing i was very very and very concern is that right where they prepare the food, right where they have the meats.... in my eyes and right next to my food I was waiting to takeout there were a cockroach roach I said it right oh way, the girl took a napkin and grad it because it was still on the counter next to the ketchup bottles I took the food and discard it right of way outside and I spend 86 dollar and left tips . they are nasty I will never again will come from so far to buy food here. And also people go inside without mask and they don’t say anything where they have a sign of maximin of 5. No lo recomiendo..the girls that charge it nice but something I didn’t like from her is that she received money and help to get food ready and make the juice, touch the utensils without cleaning her hands.
Disgusting place, unhygienic people. I was going to order but turned around and left bc it was unsanitary.
STEAK PATACON. A fried plantain sandwich with steak, cheese, tomato and garlic sauce. It's topical from Maracaibo, Venezuela. As you can see a lot of calories hehe. It's no the best one that I have tried but it was ok. The garlic and rosada (pink) sauce are good. That is a characteristic for venezuela street food that we put a lot of sauces to the food.
