Joined because they said we could pay with PayPal. Worked fine for my membership fee but when I tried to buy miles it didn't recognize my card, even though it is clearly registered in my PayPal account. I tried 4 times and then sent 3 email requests for assistance. No reply. Nothing. If you want to throw money down the toilet, this is your place. PS... I revised this, as they did finally return my fee.

Excellent first experience with The Mileage Club. Needed two business class tickets from SAN to GIG, but was short 62,000 miles. I was able to buy those miles for almost half of what I would've pay directly to the airline. The whole process from signing up (Silver) with TMC to have the miles in my airline account was no longer than 5 minutes. The Mileage Club is already set up in my address book as one of my suppliers for traveling.
