Tacombi was an easy place for me to decide to eat. I saw their advertisements at the ESB and I was instantly hooked. The guacamole is so rich, along with all the food they give you in a surplus amount. Absolutely phenomenal restaurant I would recommend to anybody who enjoys Mexican restaurants.

Excellent place for drinks and small plates of food.. prices very affordable and the place atmosphere is like been in Mexico. Definitely coming back.

One of my favorite places to go for quesadillas in the city. So flavorful and the perfect portion. The street corn is also a must.

Tacombi is a focused taco shop and this is quite clear from the moment you walk in with the open kitchen concept built for efficiency. The exposed brick, Tiffany blue, antique white, and watermelon red walls give you the feeling that you are dining in a Spanish country. They give you a pencil and a paper menu to check off the à la carte taco dishes. I highly recommend the Avocado Tostada from the Entradas section which is essentially like an oversized chip that contains refried beans topped with sliced avocado, pickled cabbage, queso fresco, and dried chile salsa. Although this is just an appetizer, it is one of the best items on the menu. It is a little on the small side so don't think twice about getting two orders! I would also suggest trying the Acapulco Shrimp if you like shellfish which is a medium soft taco topped with spicy cabbage & roasted habanero salsa. Tacombi gets an average rating but treat it as a starter spot for a night out or just a quick eat and you won't be disappointed!
