This place is truly amazing. Everything from the atmosphere to the staff are really out of this world. And that is before you even get your food! The food is top notch Mexican fare straight out of Puebla, Mexico, the mole is one of the best in the city. If I could give this place 10 stars, I would.

This is a new pop up in the Neighborhood! This Mole is out of this world! The sauce has such complex notes and the chicken is so tender. It's the perfect combination of flavors to me! This Mole is homemade and imported from the Chef's literal home in Mexico "Oro Verde" Guacamole, IDK what it is but It's the best I have had! What I appreciate is that all of the sauces that are paired with the food is clearly so fresh and simple. I ended up taking some Pernil to go and the best part is that it all reheats up really well! Definitely come give this a try!
I love the food here. I got the jackfruit tacos and the shrimp enchiladas. Both the shrimp and the jackfruit tacos were really well seasoned and tasted really authentic. I am still thinking about those jackfruit tacos. The service is really sweet and extremely attentive. I can’t wait to eat here again!
Started by the long time chef/family friend of the owners of Thai Sliders, Oro Verde is the newest mexican restaurant in Chelsea. Oro Verde, translates to Green Gold, which is exactly what their fresh homemade guacamole is. The chips are fried in house and are a perfect compliment to the green gold. The Molé is absolutely incredible and should be tried since it's the chef's sister's recipe from Puebla, Mexico. This dish is so rich with flavor and rightfully so since it takes 45 minutes to prepare with the Molé shipped from Mexico.
