Delicious food and generous portions for the price. Lots of flavor. A good choice for an easy lunch or nice dinner

Went for lunch. Will be back for dinner. Coconut rice balls, Brussels and chicken ban mi. Love the freshness of all ingredients and the cleanliness of the restaurant. They have nicely spaced tables inside and out with glass borders. Loved everything and wouldn’t take anything out but I would add a few things: The pickled peppers on top of salty Brussels need more of a presence, less sweet and more of a kick which would send that dish over the top. Also the ban mi did not have NEARLY enough crunchy veggies and herbs for my liking. The meat was perfectly cooked but the other ingredients got lost with the crusted outside of the chicken. Thus, 4 star review but beautiful over all and fresh ingredients for a fresh lunch which is about 75-85( 100 easy with tip)for 2 people lunch. 2apps, 2 drinks and 2 entree, no dessert.

Definitely make a reservation ahead of time - I’m glad we did. I tried the pork wraps, an interesting take on ssam. After reading such enthusiasm regarding the sticky rice and sauces, I knew I had to try it. Bang bang is spicy- quite literally a bang. Eggplant has a rounded flavor with sweet, savory notes, not too bogged down by rice. Excellent side dish. The pricing on the menu might jump out a bit but not too bad considering generous portions (noodles). Update 1.2.21 - came here for group dinner. Heaters are not the best, but glad to experience more plates here. Rich, complex flavors all around. Good idea to order more rice on the side for vehicle to deliver the extra sauces.

I visited on Sunday evening for dinner. It wasn't too crowded but the places filled up pretty quickly. However, I liked it because it was not too loud. Inside was also dark with very dim light. I also liked that it was not too loud even though the seats were right next to one another. . My favorite dish was the crunch coconut rice. It was like a rice ball that's crunch outside and soft inside with the sausage. Baby iceberg gave fresh taste to the dish. There were 4 balls in the dish. . I also liked the crispy pork belly wrap. Although it was very difficult to make a wrap out of what they gave us, everything combined taste amazing. A bit sweet and a bit spicy. . We also had salmon and spare ribs. The green curry in salmon was mildly spicy and salmon was cooked very well. It was very juicy inside. Spare ribs were good too, but it was a bit too salty for me.

Being a lifelong NY'er (but recently relocated to L.A.), I am ecstatic when I find a new and amazing restaurant in NY. The other night, while wandering Tribeca, we stumbled upon this cozy restaurant after dinner. Taking a quick peak at the menu and inside the restaurant, we made a rez for a couple of nights later. It was truly life changing (for my taste buds). I am of Asian decent and have never come across Laotian cuisine before, so this was a first. I would say its a fusion of Thai and Vietnamese styles. This place blew us away with the flavors and combination of ingredients. The most memorable dish was a special of the day - 'pig face' - which, once you get past what it is, was rediculously good.
