A gem from days gone by. It's tucked away and hard to find (Google directions were off), but because I had been there once before, I knew to hug/stay close to the East River/FDR Drive. Once you get close, you will have to walk over the FDR Drive to actually get there. Here's the view that awaits you from the promenade which is just behind the Amphitheater...

HipHop History - Before the redesign of the abandoned theater this was one of the video location for EPMD - Headbanger (ft. Redman & K-Solo). In addition some parts will filmed across the river in Brooklyn also.

Great place to see any concert you desire. Saw Eddie Palmeri and the view and sound was Amazing!! Looking forward to going back and seeing more events.
