Saw her a couple of times. Always curt and hurried, acts as though my questions are dumb. A mother is entitled to be concerned about her child; questions should be welcomed not scorned. My son had an anaphylactic reaction on Easter weekend- March 30. We went to Tulane Lakeside ED (which was itself a frustrating experience when no one laid eyes on my son that had just gotten an epi pen for 30 minutes and then wasted time measuring his head circumference rather than checking for breath sounds, but I won't go there now). He had bloodwork done to check for an enzyme level to determine if his reaction was true anaphylaxis. I have called several times, spoken with the nurse, left messages. I STILL- now May 30-- have not heard anything back. Last I called I was told \the doctor has still not responded to the nurse's message\. Unreal. The Tulane allergist residents that come in before Dr. El-dahr are also atrociously condescending. Do not waste your time and money.
