Denied an appeal for my son with stunning ignorance of his intellectual disabilities. She used generalistic terms that led me to believe she had barely even read his case. Her decision causes him to be exclusively home bound, eliminating inclusive extended family support options that are universally encouraged for kids with ID (not Mental retardation as she wrote). She either has shockingly bad judgement or is in the deep pockets of the insurance companies. I'll let you decide which.
