Sand dunes to roll down, grassy areas for picnics, rope swings across a stream with a Ford, miles of paths to walk through Heather and fern laden landscapes and views to take your breath away. Our 12 year old son was able to catch small fish with a net in the little river. Free parking was wonderful and ponies aplenty roaming. Highly recommended for all ages. Alice Isle pub a short walk away for refreshments but no lavatories.

Popular walking area with big open spaces and vistas. The sandpit and river is great for children in the summer.

Lovely nature place If you go with kids must take at least some bigger plastic shopping bags for the sand slide
