It's a girls hostel and since I have been a resident of this hostel I find everything quite perfect. As compared to the other universities the hostel food is much better and quite hygienic as well. I do understand that students get bored of hostel food eating it repetitively but the food is nice. The washrooms too remain clean cause helpers come to clean it daily and they even clean students rooms. Plus the care takers are friendly and sweet. The rooms here are 3 seaters. Overall you'll have a good experience in the hostel if you get good roommates. :P
This place was my home for four lovely years. I made some of the best memories of my life with wonderful friends. Food is better than most of the hostels I know. Washrooms r clean and decent, so are the rooms. Washing machines are provided for laundry.
The hostel is alright. It has two kind of rooms: one three seater, another dorm. I got a three seater room. This hostel has four floors and no lift facility. A gym is available at Rs 500/semester. Mess is compulsory. The food is decent. These days the quality of food has gone worse since the contractor changed. All girls hostels have 10.30 PM curfew in the name of our \safety\. The hostel itself is alright but getting a seat here is tough as the allotment process is somewhat rigged and not transparent. If people want Jamia to truly become a global University then they should start with improving the hostel facility.
It's a good place for students as the authorities here are quite friendly
