This had been the Mandarin and is under new management. I made an phone order last night to a charming young man called Johnny. He was so patient, polite and humorous, eager to accommodate my order which was mash up from an old Mandarin menu. The food was perfectly fine. But to me, Johnny was the star of the show!! Closed Tuesdays. They do delivery for 1.20
There's plenty of Chinese takeaways in the clarkston area but The New Corner is the best. Once we found it we haven't went anywhere else. Definitely 5 stars.
First time using this takeaway after it being recommended to us. Food was fantastic, we will definitely be back again.
Horrible staff. Phoned for a delivery and was told that it'd be 45mins to an hour to be delivered. Phoned back to ask where the food was about an hour after originally ordering. I was then told to \get a grip\ as I expected the order to be here within an hour. I was told 45mins to an hour... Not to mention the fact that when I phone for the second time I asked where my order was after waiting an hour I was asked \Are you sure you ordered an hour ago?\. Which was then proceeded by \I was going to phone you there to make you aware of the delay\. You clearly just forgot about the order mate! Own up to your mistakes and don't take your own stress out on the customer for your own wrong-doing. Do not recommend at all. If there was a zero star option, I'd be choosing this.
