I filed a motion with an attorney. My case was constantly sent to a parenting coordinator with cost money with absolutely no resolution. They tell you you could go back to court if your not satisfied but, they adjourn it time and time again! Family courtislike going to Ringling brothers circus! nothing but clowns.We pay for this in our outrageous taxes!

They work quickly and efficiently on my case. I felt I was treated fairly, even though I didn’t get more parenting time.
HORRIBLE...9am appointment. Didnt get seen until closing time (4:30pm). People DO have to work you know?!... And WAIT FOR IT!!!... Don't we pay these people's salaries!
I’m a 16 year old who was the child in a case involving my aunt and my mom. They first took over 5 months to process paperwork, just to send it back and have us refile. When we finally got a court date my aunt was told they denied the case because we lived in the same house in terms of custody. To put it in perspective, my mother lost her home, car, and job and has been living off of social security from my dad’s death that is supposed to go towards the child. She doesn’t put any of it towards me- clothes, rent, nothing. She doesn’t even pay my phone bill, just her own. She uses me as a paycheck, I don’t have health insurance and haven’t been to the doctor or dentist, which is medical neglect by law. This court is corrupt and doesn’t care about the wellbeing of the child, just whatever takes paperwork off their hands. They said they could do nothing about the social security since I’m a minor despite it stopping when a I turn 18. Makes no sense!!
If I could have given you zero stars I would have, but was forced to give you some credit. Your system is horrendous. Your officers are horrendous. Your civilian workers are horrendous. There is absolutely no reason why any one should be waiting to see the judge for 3 hours when there is only 5 people in total waiting to see him. I am ashamed of this county and it’s system.
