Dont judge a book by the cover. It's not the most attractive pub to look at and it's not the Savoy hotel either but don't let this put you off. It's a traditional local pub serving great food. First class food and service. Excellent rib eye steak, cooked to perfection. Great portion size. The house special fish and chips amazing. Go treat yourself,I highly recommend a visit.

Lovely pub in Caister, not far from beach, seating in garden and social distancing in place, we walked from Great Yarmouth racecourse, camping.

This is a great pub. We moved to Caister four weeks ago and tried a few places and this by far the best. Ian and Sandra, the licensee's, are so friendly and welcoming. The Sunday lunch is delicious with huge portions. It is advisable to book! The real ales are well kept. There is large lawn area at the front with tables and a good size car park. The pub is literally a stones throw from the beach. It's dog friendly. Try this pub and you will not be disappointed.

Brilliant place, fantastic welcoming & friendly staff. Food was good and well priced. Child friendly. Car park on site right next to the beach with a child’s play area. Definitely visiting again

Called a couple of times late afternoon with our 2 year old grandson, sat outside on the lawn, quiet but think that was down to the lockdown, didn't eat here but the food we saw being served looked very nice, couple of real ales on the bar which were very nice plus a good selection of other drinks. Clean and well kept landlord was very friendly. Bit of a hidden gem well worth a visit. Also dog friendly inside and out.
