**Edit:After receiving a response from someone, I appreciate it, however claiming it's a communication error is just an excuse. And not the problem My friend is French so the conversation took place in French and although I'm not fluent in speaking or writing I can understand and I felt very uncomfortable and could tell we were being blamed. I will start by saying Les 3 brasseurs in Lille is one of my favorite restaurants good food and even better customer service. I came here expecting the same but was dissapointed. We had a really good day until this, they were really unprofessional, horrible customer service, they took what had been a great day and ruined it with their attitude. I tried a new recipe Flemmkeuche the chorizo one, expecting some oil but not lakes. I soaked up an entire napkin of oil and couldve done at least three more. I tried it, had three bites and couldn't finish, the oil made me sick. We tried to see if we could change it but they said no because Id taken a few bites. No problem, I understood, I'll take it to my husband. My friend and I moved on to thinking about dessert. A moment later our waitress arrived with her manager who made the situation horrible. They made us feel guilty for complaining told us it's normal to have grease, even after showing them the grease filled napkin. They told us we should know, it's their loss, and just continued to argue and make us feel horrible when we'd already moved on. I think the waitress was trying to do the right thing by asking her manager if there was anything they could do but he made it worse. Even after I told them we've moved on youre making us feel akward they continued to argue with us. They shouldn't push that the customer is wrong and should know it. An apology wouldve been fine and we wouldve stayed and spent more money. I do not recommend you go here.
