It a car open air car park, tarmacked, spaces are adequately sized which these days are getting rearer. Can get busy at the weekends and school holidays especially in the summer when it can be full. Shame it used to be free but now you have to pay.

Handy for free parking when doing Saturday morning parkrun.
An underrated car park perfect for visiting the park. It's officially pay and display but all the machines have been vandalised and removed so it's effectively free parking. There's no toilets there, the original toilet block has been closed due to vandalism and general disrepair. But the Greyhound pub is next to it and there's often and Icecream van there so it's a good area.
