Had a cooling drink in shade. Beautiful building furnished in style both in and out. Garden is a delight with parasoled tables . Extensive menu . Sunday lunch looked tempting . Included three meat choices. Long list of beers,lager and cider. Reasonably price wines .Is on the A56 a short walk from beautiful Frodsham. Near Castle Park with its art centre and cafe. Good base for rambles on the hills, marches and villages of Cheshire . Bus stops almost outside with regular service from and to Chester .

Lovely pub in a good spot Not allowed to stand at the bar to see what beers are on, one person took our track n trace details then disappeared, a second came and asked for our orders, a third then came and asked for our order which we repeated.. Two pints both different Our order came... Wrong Second time lucky... Good pint
Love coming here, my second time there. Had a Jacket Potato this time very yummy, hubby had a baguette which looked amazing too.
Spent a lovely lunchtime in the beer garden to conform with Covid regulations. Called in for a quick meal and drink and we ended up ordering 3 courses and 2 drinks. The food was lovely, served with a smile and piping hot. We didn't have one negative and have already booked to go back again. Well done .
Lovely presented tasty food, nice staff. Only four stars as no baby change.
