Chips have been cooked and cooked again were awful, asked for a mixed kebab and received about 4 pieces of chicken, food was cold and chicken kebab that was there was that hard, ended up throwing in bin will never be going back

This was an outstanding fish and chips.
So fresh cooked perfectly first visit will be back
08 12 2019 Ive been coming here to The Neptune (Restraunt) for my *F un C's for over half a century. *They have a nice selection of food. I have always found the quality and portions to be excellent, and I recommend the Neptune to any one; the staff are always very accomodating.
Would give it 0 stars if I could. Treated family to tea after visiting Grantham but unfortunately dog had to have it in the end. The only thing we liked was the big bottle of Dr Pepper that we bought. Will not be going again. Put red sauce on kebab even though I asked for none. Then had no salad even though I asked for some. Chips were hard and cold. Burger was slathered with too much mayonnaise. Staff didn't seem too happy or responsive and mumbled when they spoke. Not normally one to complain but it was utter s**t and spent 20 for it to be given to the dog. Will NOT go again!!
