We visited this restaurant whilst visiting Gloucester, based on reviews, this high rating is well deserved. A short walk from the city centre. A modern, spacious restaurant. Tables well spaced out & hand sanitizer a available as you entered and for people collecting take-away to accommodate COVID guidelines. Food was delicious, authentic and plentiful. Service was excellent. Wasn't cheap, but I'm happy to pay for quality food and service. The whole place (restaurant and toilets) were immaculately clean. Staff wore face coverings at all times during COVID. The staff all wore smart traditional Nepalese suits. A really lovely evening and would highly recommend.
Eating in (Once we are able to again) is a pleasant experience at this restaurant, the staff are professional and proficient. Delivery is efficient, and the drivers are excellent. It's nice to see that the restaurant invests in their own branded cars and makes an effort to have a good delivery service. The food itself is of the quality you'd expect. The most encouraging thing is despite having a large variety of dishes, you get a good meal regardless of your order. The only downside is that Nepalese Chef is quite expensive comparatively, however you genuinely do receive a service which matches the price.
We had a dinner party with colleagues from work for a pre-celebration of the Diwali Festival. I have to say it was one of the best nights in my life. We had so much fun. The service, the food and even the cost of it was absolutely incredible. The food comes a little bit spicy depending on what you are ordering, but the portions are big and they keep you full for long time. When one of my colleagues asked me what I think about the food, I’ve simply replied: “I’m in Heaven!”
