I would like to say about their excellent organisation, full facilities and assistance for doing my job, excellent accommodation conditions, social activities and friendly and professional staff. The Principal of the College adopted professional methods for staff motivation and was always assisting in the course preparation. In few words, I would recommend Lancashire College for adults interested in learning new subjects in an innovative way. A place to remember for the rest of your life.

Lancashire Adult Learning is a very nice and comfortable atmosphere to study in. Even though the College itself is based in Brierfield the tutors come to towns & cities within the Lancashire area which helps people like myself who lives in Preston. I first started in 2015 and the venue I have always been to is Cotton Court. In my first year I studied English and Maths. In my second and my current year which is my third year I have been studying ICT. The tutors I have had during my study time there were Paul Dickinson, Philip Carter, Sarah Birtwhistle and Tasnim Desai were really supportive, caring and understanding towards my needs and long term health problem. For learners who have learning disabilities the College provides an additional learning support team to come along and support them throughout their time of learning whilst in Class which I feel is a great help. I definitely 100% recommend Lancashire Adult Learning to people who want to improve on their English, Maths and ICT skills etc as in classes it’s a small group of adults which makes people like myself feel welcome and comfortable.

Since being under new management of Nelson and Colne ,this has improved Lal College a lot . I have just completed a Functional Skill entry level 3 ITC course , i thought the course was very well taught by tutor Cath Bryce, and supported by Lauren Brookes Lst worker i recieved fantastic support from her, she had paitience with me she is an exceptionally good thourghly enjoyed it.I went on to successfuly pass the exam for this course this has really boosted my confindence. This has prepaired me to study for Functional Skills level 1 ITC course which starts in September 2017 term.I am also thinking of studying Functional Skills ITC level 2 in September 2018 term, after I have passed the exam for Functional Skill's level 1 ICT which I'll be taking in March 2018 term.
