Huge thank you to Craig Baldwin and Jane Halliday for all their hard work during a very stressful and highly emotional time. Craig is an amazing solicitor and I would highly recommend him for any family law matters - not only is he extremely experienced but he is also a great people person and such a lovely guy. He takes the time to really understand the family dynamics and what it is that you're wanting to achieve, but he's also a realist and will happily tell you if something will or won't work (both practically and legally). He doesn't attempt to find work where there is none, as a lot of solicitors can be notorious for i.e. sending emails/letters where it isn't necessary, which is amazing if, like me, you're on the path to becoming a single parent and funds are somewhat limited! He kept me calm throughout the whole process knowing that he had everything in hand and that I could count on him to escalate matters appropriately should they warrant it. Jane also deserves a mention in her own right! She's also really lovely, and I can honestly say I have never known an assistant to be so insanely organized, sharp and honest. Any time I phoned up about my case she would always provide me with the information she had, and if she needed to double check anything she got back to me in lightening speed! She definitely runs a tight ship, and when you're trying to juggle this sort of stuff with work/kids/general life admin it is such a saving grace to have a team so reliable and efficient! I'm extremely happy with the outcome of my case, and I can say hand on heart you will not find a better team to work with!
