The service was very friendly, the food - curry and fish - were delicious! Also the typical local breakfast convinced me! Coconut Roti with String Hopper, Dhal Curry and of course Chicken Curry.
Avoid! The service here is bad and the food is not much better. We ordered a western breakfast and the eggs were very undercooked, even after being sent back once. The server got upset when we asked if we were getting the sausage and potatoes (included on the menu). We never saw the potatoes, but the microwaved sausage eventually came. When we paid he again was blaming us for not ordering the items right away, despite them clearly being listed on the breakfast menu. Quite upsetting! In general the staff was rude and the cook cannot even prepare a fried egg.
The staff were very friendly and although my family and I came quite close to closing time the staff were accommodating and stayed extra hours to prepare us a lovely meal! Lahiru was in particularly very generous and provided top quality service, the food was also delicious and freshly prepared
Been here only to have lunch with my friends. Experience was not that great, but it is okey to have food there. Thumbs Up: # Staff were really friendly to help with setting up tables and taking orders. # Food was comparatively okey-ishly priced and quality was okay. Thumbs Down: # No air conditioned dining available. Especially these days, it gets really hot and exhausting. # Delivering of the food awfully took quite a lot of time, even though it was only us in the restaurant and literally no other customers were there.
Beware! Tourist trap. I recently went into the Green Pub for a Shisha and drink after a day on the beach. When I entered I asked the lady behind the bar the price of Shisha and she clearly told me 1000 rupees. I acknowledged that and sat down. Fast forward one below average Shisha and a couple of Colas later (without ice as they didn't have any in the blistering 38 heat). And the bill came back at a ridiculous 2800 rupees. Naturally I enquired why and was told that Shisha is now 2000r! So all of a sudden somehow the price mysteriously has doubled! Mystified as too why exactly, I protested to the bar women who proceeded curtly to bare faced lie to me stating she quoted 2000r when I initially asked her on my arrival. Meanwhile repeatedly demanding & gesturing hastily for the inflated sum whilst adopting a wry look of guilt & shame on her expression. I then asked to speak to the manager first, he promptly appeared poker faced at her beckoning to unflinchingly exclaim the retorted price that his female charge had told him seconds earlier in her whispered native tongue. To be absolutely honest on reflection this cannot be the first time these two clowns have rehearsed such chicanery. They clearly pray on westen travellers with their desperate conning tactics often. It's a crude attempt to maximise or in my case double their profit margins for the day. To any honest folks looking for food, shisha or drinks there are dozens of places on this very same street where you will get a better service for at the very least half the price. So be warned! I'd avoid these dishonest robbing crooks if I was you. I regret visiting here and also having to give their review one star as this kind of deviant trickery deserves none.

Estuvimos en negombo dos dias i desayunamos aquí. La comida buena, buena relacion calidad precio i el camarero Remon és un crack, muy simpatico i atento. El restaurante estava muy limpio i bien decorado
