Exceptional from start to finish! Highly recommend. From the moment we contacted NE Downing we were so impressed with the level of care. From the respectful and dignified collection of our loved one, the assistance with planning of the funeral, visits to the chapel of rest and then the final journey and service was perfect in every way. The celebrant Leila was just amazing and her words so touching you would think she had known our mother personally!! With the assistance of NED We gave our mother a wonderful send off, such and important part of the grieving process for families.Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Used Downings recently for my husband's funeral. Excellent service from them, helpful, friendly staff. Everything that needed to be done was covered by them, and the day itself couldn't have gone better.Totally professional and very understanding of peoples needs. Dave Woodall took the service, again, excellent. All of this without breaking the bank. Absolutely couldn't have had better.
I would like to thank you for making my sisters funeral so good. The day just flowed percectly everyone was very professional and at the same time caring and empathy was shown. It could not have been done any better from the initial meeting at the office with Wendy to the actual funeral. I would confidently recomend this service.
