All pharmacies are under pressure at the moment. Even before the current situation boots were continually out of stock of my repeat prescriptions and telephone contact impossible. My surgery also has issues with them. I had to have my prescription reprinted as Boots had collected it but could find no trace of it when i enquired. They even told me I had no activity on my account since September.....funny as i collectd my last prescription in January. Apparently a new computer system is to blame. It's time to change my nominated Pharmacy.
I appreciate how busy Pharmacies are at this time but my experience today Àt Neath was Unbelievable There were atl least 50 people waiting outside to put prescription in staff were allowing one or two people in at a time. You would think to drop prescription off am and maybe pick up pm next day it. Would make sense.But no each customer was waiting at least 10 minutes for script to be filled.So the people waiting was getting longer and may not be seen. Maybe not the staffs fault but I am sure management could come up with a better system. .You would thi upnk the advice would be to drop prescription off an pick up next
I made some good savings but had to walk the whole length of the store to find a till in operation. I spotted a couple more things on my way out but didn't want to walk all the way back to pay.
Fantastic customer service within Optician Department. Optometrist still saw me when I turned up late for appointment. Welcomed me and put me at ease. Many thanks Catherine Vrac
