Beautiful church with a great congregation. My family has been attending their Christmas Eve candlelight service for the past 40 plus years. I am so happy I can bring my kids to this church to experience what I did when I was their age.
I love being a member of this church. Unfortunately, I now live an hour and a half away, so I can no longer attend services.
I loved working for them when they owned the bookstore. I will never get over how badly they handled the selling of that beautiful old building and the bad treatment of their loyal employees. They got rid of the Meadery in the back too. That was a truly good place to eat and drink. Unique. They have kept some of the atomosphere of the old store....but it doesnt make up for the loss....just my opinion.
It was a blessed time by people gathering for a lunch given by Loaves and Fishes: The menu was Pork & Sauerkraut, mashed potatoes and green beans, cookie for dessert, coffee, tea, hot chocolate and water for choices of drinks. They served with caring compassion for the needy. God's blessings to them in Jesus name.
