Sat outside, order taken, mobbed by two dogs. Chatted with dog owners. A pleasant experience
Just had chips, carrots, broccoli and a homemade leak & chicken pie. Everything was cooked perfect, veg not too hard or soft and the pie just melted in your mouth. Yes it is probably just classed as standard food to many, but when it’s cooked like this, it deserves a top rating, ps all the food tasted fresh and not tinned, I will be returning for definite, thanks from Kathy & Rob
Good grub and nice beers, good value for money. Atmosphere is great, nice and homey. Many years ago when I worked in Draycott I visited more often on the way home from work. That warm welcome feeling that I had then has not disappeared. Only downside it can get rather busy at times so book in advance for food
