The toilets were well-maintained. There were adequate social-distancing measures. The setting is GORGEOUS! We sat outside (not even sure if there are seats inside but you wouldn't want to unless it was throwing it down). I had Chilli on Chips (with cheese) - it was AMAZING. I think the cost was 6.95(?). Really handy place to stop (on our way to Porthmadog). Ample parking. White water facilities as well which you don't have to be using to make use of the cafe. Free WiFi.

Always a fun venue to visit and watch canoeists and white water rafters in dinghies ride the rapids and fast water currents. Group bookings or individual bookings welcome. An exhilarating ride with experienced qualified leaders in the boat. Lifejackets and wet suits supplied. On site cafe serves nice hot drinks and snacks and tables on the terraced patio allow excellent view points. Nice place for a walk along the river bank too. Parking is free. Can get busy in summer months.

Excellent place with really great facilities changing rooms and showers large and a really nice cafe serving great home cooked food to order ,and of course the river is awesome, I had personal training from Richard on the river for one day and it was excellent ,I had never kayaked on white water before and by the end of the day I could paddle freely across the river and safely manoeuvre in and out of the eddies and had a couple of hours of negotiating parts of the river downstream at a good pace ,I went from total novice to confidently paddling in one day witch was a great result because that river is no joke seriously quick in winter conditions !! ,also picked up loads of invaluable safety information ,in short I will be going back very soon and would highly recommend this place to anyone .
