We had some delicious soup, very warming on a cold day
Came here for al light lunch after visiting the Stourhead Estate. Service was rather slow and social distancing meant that we, and others started queuing outside in the rain. We both had a Cornish pasty, cake and tea. Pasties were tasty and hot, slices of cake so generous we only ate some and took the remainder home. Tea was served in the ubiquitous cardboard cups ugh!! Would have thought china could go straight into a dishwasher. Overall food great, service slow.
We had a lovely lunch at the national trust restaurant after a super walk around the lake. A really good loop walk. The song the 12 days of Christmas was represented by wicker figures.
