When you wade out into the ocean it stays shallow for a very long time , excellent for beginner swimmers! Another thing, Due to coastal erosion the shore comes very close to the dunes leaving they're not much beach so when it's busy you can be fighting for space. Still it's a beautiful place and dew too no surf it makes it a very good place for paddle boards.

My new favourite location. Such a beautiful beach and surrounding area, full of history and clearly well maintained by the National Trust. Luckily for me, as a member, parking is free. Have uploaded a pic of costs for those who aren’t.
Pay by phone is great when there is signal to help it work... other than that does what it says on the tin. Allows cars to park.
Perfectly situated for the coast and countryside. Next to the Banks's Arms. Need coins to pay unless you can pay by phone or are a member.
Campervan parking,!!!! Some people are just ignorant or stupid. Pointed it out to trust workers and who the driver was they didn't care. What's the point if you won't enforce the rules.
