Absolutely by far my most favourite National Trust property in the whole country! You'll have to come early if you're going to try to get it all in in one day but if you live within a reasonable distance then I promise that you'll be coming back again and again for as long as you're able!
Amazing place. The grounds/house and lake are stunning. Do take good walking shoes as you can opt for an extended walk around the grounds. Cafe is great and situated upon entrance (socially distant ofcouse!). Plenty of space to enjoy grounds safely (wide walkways). Enjoy!
Beautiful. Really impressed with gardens. Covid prepared and relaxed place. Could do with more toilets to be honest considering the size of the site.
Booked to visit Stowe with my wife and two children, the house was closed due to covid restrictions but the grounds were open and social distancing was put in place very well. The grounds are beautiful and lots of interesting things to see dotted throughout the grounds. Loads of alternate paths to take and a great place for a picnic, but there was a little snack van serving coffee and food which was top notch.
