National Trust - Seaton Delaval Hall

Amazing place, we have visited in summer and Autumn. They have just installed a lovely park for the kids too. You could do a full day in the summer and maybe half in colder months as no long walks like other NT properties. A visit to Arrighi's ice cream parlour on the way home is a must. X

Lovely part of the national trust world. One of the smaller grounds but constantly changing with new things being added all the time. Perfect for a morning out with the kids for an explore. Staff lovely as always, grounds, cafe and toilets always exceptionally clean.

Although we live close we have never taken the opportunity to visit. The grounds were well maintained and much bigger than expected. The staff were very friendly and our oldest loved the play area and hiding in the trees. The coffee shop is still open for take away and there was many families who had taken their own picnic.

Brilliant for the kids to run around ,it looks like they have do one allot of work on the house and gardens . Fantastic place to visit if your in the area .!!

Gardens are lovely and new features being installed, plenty of picnic tables dotted about and lovely grassed areas for kids to play. We went as a family of 4 (2 young children) and we all enjoyed it. Was great to see the progress on the buildings, and had a peek through the windows. It's a decent day out now (with social distancing measures in place), so I'm excited to come back when more is open.
