Beautiful shifting silver sand. Swimming when the tides allow, surfing and kite surfing, pretty boats, showers and toilets plus various cafes. Good for sandcastles. Car park is a rip of at East head. Tip: Park for free at joliff road in East wittering then walk along the shore to the sand dunes!

Can't add to the other glowing reviews. If you haven't been, go. If you have been, go again...Can't resist leaving you with a couple of very silly pictures of a very happy dog
Even on a equally day, this is a great place to take the dog. You need to book and numbers are limited. We didn't visit the cafe this time. The toilets were clean and well maintained.
East head is located right next to west wittering beach. East head is a lot quieter despite it being pretty much the same as west wittering beach. East head allows dogs were as west wittering beach does not. So if going on a day trip make sure u set up your stuff on wast head which is located at the end of the car park and is a spit. I would also recommend it as a dog walk spot as it’s around 3.5km around it depending on tides and will give your dog a change of scenery.
Love this place, can be quite busy in warmer months.
