Such a beautiful estate. We love coming here for both long and short walks. Always well kept and the volunteers/staff are always friendly and wave at my little girl.
The house is currently closed, but the grounds and toilets are open. The deer were magnificent. It was great to see them so close. The takeaway cafe was open. The wooden sleigh with carved reindeer, all named and decorated, was loved by the children, who sat for photos in the wicker sleigh. The river was high and the weir was spectacular.
A beautiful place for a walk. A lovely atmosphere. Great cafe. Perfect for kids to have an explore especially with the Peter rabbit theme. Dogs need to be on leads for most of it but there are some designated areas where you can let them off.
Been going to Attingham since I moved to Telford around 17 years ago. Great place to just walk round and enjoy the scenery and the peace. Would recommend it to anyone especially if your looking for a place that is very dog friendly.
