Many locations with long distance views over Manchester,Stockport and Lyme Park linked by well maintained footpaths. On site plenty of space for children's play and places to scramble

Whether it is the green shoots of spring, the shade in the summer the leaves in the autumn or the crispness of winter Alderley Edge is one of the best places to do your 10000 steps a day. Kids love scrambling up the slopes through the trees and around the old mine workings. Lots of paths and routes. It will take you a good few trips to learn them all and you'll never tire of refreshing your memory

Absolutely beautiful, stunning walk. Make sure to wear wellies as we did not!! There is lots of parking and you can park in the side roads too. We did the waterfall route, great way to get your steps in. Recommend during the lockdown restrictions! There are also toilets on site as well as a takeaway coffee shop

Nice rural walk not too far from Manchester. Very easy to get lost and parking can be a bit lacking, but otherwise is a nice afternoon out. The wizard cafe is also really good. Nice hot chocolate, plenty to choose from on the menu and good social distancing protocol. I'd go again.

Great place for either an easy walk or a challenge, depending on which paths you take. Views are pretty good on a clear day.
