Well worth negotiating the current booking system for a peaceful weekend walk during the pandemic. The lake was half frozen but didnt seem to deter the wildlife. On a 2hr walk we saw at least 20 Robins.

Although not quite up to its usual standard of excellence (presumably because of Covid-19) this is still one of my favourite places in the world. Both the lake walk and the formal gardens are fantastic, and the house is both interesting and beautiful (when it's open).

Love Mount Stewart could allow more people in to enjoy walks both easy and more challenging if wanted. In normal times book shop cafe and shop are well stocked with goodies. House when open beautiful.

Great gardens. Lots to see and nice walks. Play area good but not well signposted. Friendly staff.
