Beautiful scenery. Lovely walks. Space for children to run around. Cafe is following all safety guidelines re Covid. Card payments only accepted. You also need change for car park machine as it does not take cards.

Our 2nd visit in 11 years , where does the time go. Still a lovely place, nice pit stop and hot drinks from the cafe. Lovely grounds to take a stroll. National Trust members so we parked for free. As we hadn’t planned to call by in advance we hadn’t pre-booked (Covid ruling etc) but lady at the NT but assured us that it was ok. Noticed folk body boarding on the lake which I’d love to do sometime, also canoeing. If I lived nearer I would by a canoe.
Lovely visit here today. Blue skies and beautiful water. There’s a small play area that’s good for children, I’d suggest from toddlers to 8/9, any older and it’ll be boring for them. Boats can launch from here and there’s also an access ramp in the park for those wanting to swim or paddle board. There’s a good cafe too.
Lots of water activities to get involved with or just simply tale a nice walk around windermere. So many stunning towns and village's to see.
Lovely and scenic walk, great climbing trees and park for the children. Cafe open too for a nice warm cuppa after a pour down.
