Originally I came here to see the railroad exhibits and take pictures. It's a great place to get local history and really old dates from mid to late 1800s exhibits have been really preserved and restored extremely well. Free admission and takes about an hour to really appreciate all there is to offer. Most of the offerings are outside, so wait for great weather. What was on the inside was mostly closed due to covid scare. Recommend!

Just watched \Candlelight at the Ranch.\ I am from one of the early ranching families in Snyder. The program emphasized the different cultural backgrounds of the families in ranching. It reflected an authentic representation of those years. In addition, it reflected the traditions of Christmas with its true story. Thank you NRHC!

You can walk through more than 100 years of Texas history in an afternoon. Houses, school houses, barns, bunkhouses and even a train await you. It's a great place to get some exercise, sun and an education. There is no charge, but a donation will help keep the operation going.

This museum is a wonderful preservation of ranching life. They have an APP that you can download that gives access to tours, games, etc. A small indoor museum gives an overview of what you will see when you step outdoors.

Great place near TTU campus, in fact inside it, to witness the great and historic heritage of pure West Texas ranching lifestyle! Must visit place in town for sure!
