Nash's Traditional Fisheries

We have had fish and chips now several times and they have always been excellent. Calling to collect . Unfortunately last night when I went to collect the chips were very disappointing. I ordered via phone 2 regular fish and 1 portion of regular chips my bill should have been 11.70 however on returning home I had received 2 x regular fish and 2 regular chips and was charged 13.60.. I will be contacting Nashes next next weekend to let them know. As mentioned the chips were below their normal standard.

We had fish and chips last week they were delicious and decent portions but tonight it was a farce. My husband ordered 2x haddock and chips and when we got home we had a chip sandwich, fish pieces and something resembling a triangular flatfish with what looked like skin. They cost 14. He returned our order, obviously someone else’s and asked for fish and chips x2. We got the same tiny skinned fish and chips and the other order was a fish with hardly any batter. Very disappointing and the portions were mean. Come on get a grip it was chaotic and poor and not worth 14.

In the vulnerable group. Having been in lockdown since mid March, chance to have fish & chips delivered was irresistible. I have been a customer of Nash's for 54 years. Fish and chips were lovely but poor value when ordering using Deliveroo. Ordered Regular fish, curry & small chips for 8 cost over 83.00? Prices massively inflated on Deliveroo service despite service charge Deliveroo service charge 0.49 looks fine but Nash's Takeaway menu Fish 4.90 Deliveroo 6.50? Nash's Takeaway menu Small Chips 1.90 Deliveroo 2.70? Nash's Takeaway menu Curry/Peas 1.00 Deliveroo 1.20?
