Hard to beat the fare, but I had by back pocket turned inside out on the platform. Thankfully my wallet was in my front pocket. Also, I certainly don't expect things in Italy to be in English. But platforms are barely labeled and the ticket attendants can't be bothered to point you in the right direction. Do yourself a favor and arrange private transport to sorrento or take the ferry.
Cars are busy and close to being on time. Ticket agent in Sorrento office took advantage of my lack of knowledge in ticket purchasing. Probably put s in his pocket.

Linea provata da frequenti ritardi , e attese molto lunghe di anche 30 fermate per raggiungere particolari destinazioni , utile per circumnavigare il Vesuvio ma la gestione e i borseggiatori non farebbero pensare due volte a chiunque di preferire l auto a questa linea di trasporti
