Took a flight from Naples to Amsterdam. Decent airport. I would have loved to have some decent food options for a vegetarian though.
Fine I guess. A few different options for food and shopping Poor covid control - limited alcohol gel, no distancing, staff without masks etc. Security was fast, but less thorough than the standards witnessed elsewhere. Toilets dirty, no soap at any sink. (yes really, during a pandemic!)
Don’t be fooled by the smooth security process. They don’t check passports until you get to your gate area, but they don’t let you go through border control until a few minutes before boarding. The result is chaos as the agents try to shuffle certain passengers through based on the order of flights. I would wager that not a single flight ever takes off on time due to the abysmal border control system causing passengers to arrive late to the gates. Their process makes no sense.
Easy to find. Very good. Just wait for the metro.
