We Hired This attorney to assist us with a Franchise issue. We gave a 5000 retainer. After two weeks ( most Of which, we were told ) he was out of out of town with his family. We had a follow up meeting where we were advised that the franchise agreement we signed was a good one, and were basically stuck. He gave us options such as joining a franchise association.... After some personal reflection we decided to seek the advise of another local attorney. The second Attorney reviewed our case and said he felt we had a strong case. This attorney devised a coherent legal strategy, fought for us and got Us out of our agreement within approximately 60 days of our initial visit. We had never received an invoice or an accounting of what happened with our original 5000 from The Livingston firm so I called to get an accounting and the remainder of our retainer back. After two weeks and multiple Phone calls I made to the office, I just today received an email if what looked like a hastily put together paragraph stating in part, that we had “ lengthy initial meeting and “lengthy follow up with 4 pages of Legal notes” and we were provided legal advise. While on basis, This may be true but we feel it was not worth 5000.00. I do not recommend using this office for your legal needs as we feel we were over charged, mis advised, and not provided with good service.
