What can i say. After buying my boat a few yrs ago from venetian ive been a constant visitor to this marina. The team in the office are always so helpful . The manager herself has gave me so much boating advice. The chandlery is always stocked well and friendly and the tearoom has its own quirk.. always love visiting this marina highly recommended

This is a nice welcoming Marina. Staff are friendly and very helpful. There is also a Chandler (well stocked) a lovely Cafe doing take a way at the moment (lock down). New to the location is the shop that makes canvas covers and upholstery.
We purchased our narrowboat from Venetian marina and the salesman Ben was brilliant .. However after purchasing the boat and 3 months leisure moorings things took a turn for the worst the manager is the rudest person i have ever met and thinks its ok to talk to you like a five year old..... if your thinking of buying a bout go for it, if you want to use the chandlery even better there great too but if you want to have a mooring expect the manager to look through the bins for your mail and expect to get spoke down to like a child .. loads of marinas in the area and if you have any doubt about this manager being rude like many of the reviews suggest just ask the locals there let you know what shes like
We needed to moor here as Nik from Cover and Canvas whose just moved his business to Venetian needed to repair a few bits on our cratch cover. Whilst we were waiting for Nik to do these repairs, we had one of the best bacon sandwiches at the Venetian Marina Cafe, the bacon was full of flavour and our sandwiches were generously topped with it. We also bought some delicious looking cakes to have later on our narrowboat...can't wait! The Marina looks lovely too and pity the chandelry shop was closed... The Marina is Ideally placed immediately just before the Cholmondeston lock or just after depending which way your going on the canal.
