A great place for dinner in the middle of Nantes. Good food for nice prices. Great wine, great deco. A pity that the serving people are changing too often, so even if we come very often, nobody recognizes us. But they are always friendly. Unfortunately is their cheese plate not as good as in most restaurants in France.

Really nice place, with ArtDeco style, food was excellent (fish) with very tasty and original side vegetables, price us high but affordable.
Fabulous design in the restaurant with beautiful artworks and tiles of the art nouveau style. Restaurant was initially opened in 1895 and have gone through several owners. These days, they serve fresh seafood and fresh beef steaks. Presentation of the plates looks nice, although the portions are smaller. Staffs are nice and somewhat attentive. They get quite for lunch and dinners. The most amazing thing is that, this place states that they open from 7:30 am til 12:30 am, 7 days a week! For France, it’s pretty much unheard of .
I’m quite new to French cuisine and I liked food here, we had daily menu lunch special for 25 (2 meals): sardines with sauce from sweet potato and dorado fish with Nantes salty creamy sauce which was delicious. Oyster plate (6 pieces) start from 17, we ordered “oyster degustation” plate for 22 and enjoyed variety of oysters which were different in taste mainly due to different iodine content. There are also bigger plates of oysters available. Service was good, in overall good experience. Place is very busy, so reservation is required.
Pleasant experience. Giant reasonable shellfish platter. Staff was quite accomodating even though I wanted to sit outside on semi chilly day. Interior was beautiful as well. Wine list hits all price points, tastes profiles and demographics. Something for all. The presentation of shellfish outdoor shucking station is awesome. Well worth the price. Sunday brunch done well in Loire valley.

Really good food in an amazing location. The best part of the restaurant was our waiter, Alexis. I come to France multiple times a year but I haven’t met a nicer and more genuine waiter. I would definitely come back to this restaurant.
What a beautiful beautiful restaurant in Nantes!! Service is great! Lovely mixture of people tourists as well as locals and a array of lovely dishes.. try the menu of the day. But not the plate of the day... !!!!!!!! I had 3 first courses one better than the rest but my partner got the plate of the day (a stake and it was really tough and full of sinews!! Other that that food was great! And have the baba au rum!! Very boozy!! Overall a great experience!
