Nando's Basildon - Festival Leisure

After negotiating the barriers and queues outside the restaurant we were shown to our table by a cheerful patient member of staff who explained how to order using the app and how to receive the 50% discount on offer without us even asking. The ordering process was simple to understand, the food was delivered within a few minutes all present and correct, hot and tasty. The staff were constantly cleaning and I would recommend a visit to this restaurant! We did have an hour wait before our table was ready but this was to be expected while the 'eat out to help out' scheme was running. We were called to the restaurant by text with no issues. This system works really well.

I'd give it 5 stars but one of the waiters was a Muslim and he was whingeing to customers about having to fast for Ramadan when I was there. I went there to eat, not to listen to some Muslim waiter bleating about his religion.

Not the best experience. Online order through Deliveroo . One hour thirteen minutos to dispatch food , chicken tasteless more like boiled chicken and chips perfect for mash potato. To be honest I've eaten better chicken from supermarkets before. Fast delivery after dispatch

A decent meal from the famous chicken chain. The staff were friendly, clearing tables and whacking out the food like nobodys business. I went on a sunday evening and was seated straight away; no queing. They have seating outside which is great on a sunny day and they also opened up the windows to let more air in. Great atmosphere, clean and didnt have to wait ages for food. We were checked on half way through which was ace and really appreciated. The only downside was the continued push to 'sell up' which kept interrupting my order; not a biggy as we still enjoyed out time here. Standard cheeky nandosness and would recommend. Does get fairly packed in peak times though so do expect quite a wait.

We ordered a delivery using the app and unfortunately only half of our order arrived. The manager (Robbie) phoned me straight away to apologise and to say he had noticed the error as it had gone out for delivery. He immediately put the whole order through again and arranged for the delivery again. Wonderful customer service from Nandos and from Robbie. Thank you.
