Little unassuming entranceway, leads into a wonderfully quaint shop. The owner was very nice and they offer an English menu. Had the chicken and egg don and it was delicious and a good price. Very fast service.

Delicious tempura. The one in photo is tempura river eel with sweet potato slice, aubergine, lotus, shiso leaf and rice.
Food was decent, service was enthusiastic, atmosphere was cozy, price was very reasonable. One friendly-man operation, but no issues with waiting time as there wasn't many people when I was there. Comes with English menu. Don't expect to be blown away, but good enough to fufil a ten-don craving.
Reasonably-priced tempura (Tempura and rice set for only 900JPY, tax included) served with great gusto by a one-man aficionado in a restaurant nestled amongst tourist traps! Admittedly the tempura was a little bit greasy but you were seeking deep-fried food, right? Open from 1130-1930hrs or so; there is a residual cigarette smell due to the designated lunch time for smokers. However great for a cheap, cheerful smoke-free dinner.
