The hotel made a reservation for us. We went for lunch, and it was one of the best meals i had the entire trip! This is the first time I tried Kaiseki, and i gotta say that i'm totally impressed. The restaurant can only hold up to 10 people at time. We were seated at the counter where the chefs were cooking. Each dish was delicately made right in front of us. Even thought we don't speak Japanese at all, the chef was so thoughtful and brought out a book to show the type of fish we were having. There were a total of 8 dishes, including a dessert. Saying they were delicious, don't even do them justice. I was totally blown away and fell in love with everything they served. Our course costed about 8,000 yen/pax for lunch, i think it's more expensive for dinner, perhaps up to 20,000 yen/pax if i remember correctly. Love it here! The location isn't so bad either!

Paid 7000 yen for their lunch menu, and it was well worth the money! Super welcoming and lovely atmosphere. It is almost therapeutic to watch the chefs cook the food with so much care.

Ate at the restaurant on October 24, 2018. Probably the most expensive meal I've ever paid for (20,000 jpy/person) but when done I felt it was totally worth it. My wife and I sat at at the counter. Wonderfully and beautifully prepared, delicious food. Great watching the choreography and technique of the crew cooking. The taste palette is subtle and lets the ingredients shine. Great service by the hostess who greeted us on the sidewalk before coming inside, and then behind us during the meal.
