This restaurant serves very reasonable price Japanese full course menu in Kyoto. If you want to try some of traditional course menu, this restaurant is highly recommend especially in downtown Kyoto with a glass of Japanese draft beer and some of ginjo sake. You don't need to take off your shoes, but the atmosphere seems as in traditional Japanese restaurant. There are many sake choises, you can try to find your favorite one with individual types of dishes.

Restaurant in an old Kyoto townhouse (machiya) specialising in Kyoto dishes. Specifically they have a lot.of tofu skin (yuba) specialties. The yuba set lunch for 1800 is the excellent. Delicious, with a good variety of dishes all centred on yuba. The soy milk soup was particularly good. Recommended as a relaxing quiet break from the busy shopping areas all around it.
This place’s yuba is great! The whole set costs 1000 before tax and with the selection of sides and pickled vegetables , it’s seriously worth it!
Our favorite lunch spot in Kyoto! Excellent food and location, and very reasonable prices.
