Very disappointing for a fresh market. Purchased 3 fresh market meal kits which I’ve had in other locations. The steak was supposed to be Sirloin cut but was no where near the texture of a Sirloin steak. The cut was definitely a tougher cheaper meat such as chuck or round because it was so tough almost too tough to even eat. Also, the vegetables in the 2 of the kits where not what was labeled on the actual package. To top it off another kit was labeled chicken marsala but was actually chicken Pad Thai which was a huge problem because my wife has food allergies and we had no idea what was actually in it so we had to take it back. The store workers where shocked when we brought it back mentioning this could have killed someone because of allergies! These packages are prepared at the store so clearly the person packaging them could care less about what’s supposed to be inside them. I’ve had these when traveling all over the east Coast and I’ve never had this lack of quality from a Fresh Market. I will never go back to this location which is very disappointing because we always would shop there on vacation at the Outer banks. I hope management takes a seriously look at the lack of quality/ care.

I'm always so impressed with the level of assistance I get here. From the deli counter to the isles I always find everything I'm looking for and most of the time walked exactly to where item is if I'm having a hard time. Even going as far as to walking around with me looking for multiple things! I've never experienced this treatment at Food Lion or Publix and it's very appreciated. As an instacart shopper I shop here for myself because the options are such high quality. I definitely suggest the chicken salad (which comes with a box of croissants) and the Maryland crab cakes!

Thanks Karla. I have to say if I can it's going up to five stars. Your team there is amazing. And very helpful. I had some grapes that I did not realize had mold in the inside of the bunch and they exchanged them for me with no problem. Thanks for all y'all do during these crazy times.

We prefer shopping The Fresh Market for special grocery needs. Staff is so nice and helpful. Find pretty flowers, pretty party napkins, thin crispy cookies.Their ground Chuck is superb. Buy on Tuesdays.
