The food is marvellous. Had the steak and mushroom pie, the steak just melts in your mouth its that tender. Everything is lovely and hot and filling. We were made very welcome. Wouldn't hesitate to send anyone there to eat.

We had Sunday dinner here, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. We had the choice of beef or lamb, and both were mouthwateringly fresh and beautifully cooked. Their social distancing measures were adequate without being onerous, and although we were holidaymakers, not locals, we felt welcome. I would definitely recommend it to anyone else in the area looking for good food.
Called in as we were passing through. Gorgeous food lovely log fire. Was made to feel very welcome. Great hosts. We'll be back!!!!
Lovely little pub. Gorgeous home cooked food. Well worth a visit.
